‘Angry’ Crime Victims, Families Blast New York AG Letitia James at Rally for GOP Challenger

NYPost.com:

State Attorney General Letitia James dropped the ball on protecting New Yorkers, a group of crime victims and their relatives said Tuesday as they rallied for GOP challenger Sarita Komatireddy. Komatireddy, a former federal prosecutor, vowed to give victims and their families a “direct line” to the attorney general’s office if she’s elected next month.

“In New York today, the reality is, criminals have more of an audience with our elected officials than crime victims,” Komatireddy said during a press conference outside James’ Lower Manhattan office.

Six New Yorkers impacted by violence and drugs gathered with the Republican candidate, ripping the Empire State’s lax criminal justice laws backed by Democrats including two-term incumbent James and Gov. Kathy Hochul. “They’re all angry,” Komatireddy said. “They’re all tired of being ignored. Each one of them is a victim of lawlessness.

As horrible as Tish James is when it comes to fighting crime or giving a f-ck about victims of crime, I highly doubt she loses her AG seat in a couple of weeks. And the simple reason why is because it's New York, the 2nd most liberal state in the country, where Democrats reign, rule  and run loose with their woke ideology. And James knows this, which is why it was a surprise that she even showed up for her debate with Komatireddy in the first place last week. Indeed, that Jones has made no bones about weaponizing her office, targeting political opponents, letting repeated felons roam the streets freely and even ignoring major amounts of fraud going in the state for years now, is all the reason to vote her out. But in far-Left NY, as long as she goes with the program, she's safe.
