Liberal New York Times Writer Wants Sophie Cunningham Fired for Believing Men Shouldn't Play in Women's Sports

There's a great deal of media that truly despises Cunningham and her supporters. The soon-to-be WNBA free agent is likely the second-most popular player in the league, and perhaps the least popular in certain circles of the press. She's pretty. She speaks out against some of the media's most sacred issues and cows. And she truly does not care what critics think. That's a combo that will quickly put your mug on a journalist's dartboard.

Tuesday morning, Buckner was the latest to attack Cunningham in a column that was as hostile as it was hyperbolic. Her thesis was that the "combustible" guard had become too much of a distraction for the Fever to prioritize basketball. "This was the season when the Fever and even the whole Caitlin Clark experience took a backseat to a bench player with big opinions," Buckner wrote.

For daring to take on the stance that biological men shouldn't be playing in women's sports, Sophie Cunningham is vilified by the Godless Left. And oh yeah, she's cute, white and plays professional basketball for a living, which makes her even more hated by black liberals who can't stand a straight, white conservative woman speaking up in a league dominated by hyper-sexual black lesbians who carry big dildos in their duffel bags and sleep each other when they're not playing ball. After all. it's THEIR league and the Sophie Cunningham's of the world should just shut up and dribble, while being eternally grateful that they even let her play in their morally bankrupt cesspool.

Megyn Kelly Is the Real Lame After Labeling Caitlin Clark a 'Coward' for Staying Out of Politics

Ever since she entered the WNBA, Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark has been enormously popular amongst conservative sports fans, becoming a sort of lightning rod for political and social discussion. However, Clark is now facing some criticism after she declined to take a stand on the trans sports debate. 

 

Following Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Lynx, Clark spoke to the media for the first time since teammate Sophie Cunningham spoke out against transgender women competing in women's sports. However, Clark chose not to take a stand on the issue, and prominent conservative commentator Megyn Kelly is not happy. 

 

Last month, Cunningham sparked widespread controversy when she publicly shared her controversial stance on transgender athletes. During a recent interview for an ESPN profile, Cunningham was asked about her political beliefs, including the "MAGA Barbie" nickname that has followed her in recent months. In her response, the Fever guard addressed the issue of transgender athletes competing in women's sports. "I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans. And I'm like, 'I never once said that,'" she told ESPN. "I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."

From the same side that used to shout 'Shut up and Dribble!' when woke pro athletes like LeBron James spoke out on politics, comes Megyn Kelly and this lame shit. After all, Caitlin Clark is a 25yo basketball player, already a polarizing figure from jump due to her race, skillset, sexuality and the fact that she plays in a sports league that caters to the woke mob. In other words, she already has it hard enough trying to concentrate on her job. But leave it to the Matt Walsh's and Megyn Kelly's of the world to pressure force Clark into being a social justice warrior with all the virtue signaling, culture wars, media scrutiny and toxicity that comes with it. In other words, the poster girl for conservatism. Nah, f-ck that. Caitlin's much better off just shutting up and dribbling.

Brittney Griner Splits from Wife Cherelle, Who Helped Win Her Release from Russia

Brittney Griner and wife Cherelle Griner are ending their marriage. The WNBA star, 35, filed for divorce in Fulton County, Ga. on Thursday, July 30, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE. 

 

The couple have been married since June 2018, and have been separated since July 24, 2026, according to the court documents. Previous news reports stated the two have been married since 2019. 

 

Brittney, the petitioner in the divorce, called their union “irretrievably broken.” She and Cherelle, 33, who met when they were students at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, share a two-year-old son, Bash. In the filing, Brittney is seeking joint legal custody.

Lesbians have the highest rate of divorces and domestic violence incidents of any demographic. So it shouldn't surprise anyone (esp. when the words 'irretrievably broken' are used) if Cherelle found out Brittney was cheating on her with some WNBA (a cesspool for lesbo relationships) chick and put some hands on her 'wife' afterwards. After all, despite the size difference and considering everything Cherrelle did to get Brittney outta that Russia prison soem yers back, it's always the quiet one's you gotta look out for.

Woke White Liberal Sportswriter Uses Emmitt Till to Make Point About Caitlin Clark Flopping

USA Today "reporter" Nancy Armour has apologized for invoking Emmett Till in a column targeting — who else? — Caitlin Clark. 

 

"In my recent column, I made an inartful comparison with the murder of Emmett Till. I intended to connect the issues the WNBA is currently facing with its All-Star Game being hosted in Till’s hometown of Chicago," Armour wrote in an apology posted Thursday on — where else? — Bluesky. "I obviously did not provide enough context for that." 

 

For background, Armour published one of the most desperate and irresponsible sports columns of the year earlier this week, arguing that Clark's reactions to missed calls put "Black" and "queer" WNBA players "in danger."

Emmitt Tiil was 14yo in 1955 when he was tortured and later murdered for the sin of whistling at a white woman in Mississippi. Surely, Armour (who has a long history of being woke) knew the story. But she didn't mention Emmitt's name in her sports column to honor him, but to exploit Till and use him as a vessel for her sheer hatred for Caitlin Clark as well as her struggle with white guilt. Granted, Caitlin Clark is a polarizing figure and a big reason for that is because she's a straight white woman in a professional sports league that caters to lesbians. Yet, Clark's popularity is also due to the fact that she's a really good basketball player, which really, really upsets the woke crowd because that means barring a tremendous injury, she's not going away anytime soon. That said, Armour knew that she could weaponize Emmitt Till's name because most blacks in this country are liberal, she's on the 'good' side and they'll let her get away with it. So Armour's 'apology' wasn't really sincere, because using Emmitt Till as a cheap talking poimt doesn't matter when you're woke and making a bigger point about Caitlin Clark being 'evil'.
