Epstein Victims Allege Todd Blanche Told Them to ‘Get to the Point Already’ in Heated Meeting

Mediaite.com:

Victims of convicted child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein tore into Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche on Wednesday as they dropped off copies of the Epstein Files to Republican lawmakers ahead of a Blanche confirmation vote.

Dani Bensky, who was groomed and assaulted by Epstein beginning at age 17, and other survivors spoke to the press on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, where they urged Republicans to not vote to confirm Blanche to his position. A committee vote to advance Blanche’s nomination is scheduled for Thursday in the Senate.

Bensky and others carried physical copies of the files related to Epstein’s case and dropped them off at Republicans’ offices. The survivors blasted Blanche over a recent meeting, which Blanche only took after being grilled during a hearing about meeting with victims.

Jeffrey Epstein is dead. His longtime buddy and co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell is now a convicted child sex offender serving a 20-year senetnce in prison. The DOJ has released nearly 3.5 million pages of Epstein documents under Trump, something they never came close to receiving under Joe Biden. Yet, these women combined with cable news outlets that hate Trump like CNN and MSNOW, want to keep this drama at the top of the news cycle every day, while ignoring the fact that most people (including Epstein victims) have moved on with their lives already. Damn right, Blanche should be wary of these women, especially since most of them are really just out for a payday.

Four Men in Unredacted Files Named By Ro Khanna Have No Ties to Jeffrey Epstein

TheGuardian.com:

Ro Khanna, a California Democratic representative, read a list of six names on the House floor earlier this week and said they were “wealthy, powerful men that the DoJ hid” in the recently released files related to Jeffrey Epstein. After questions from the Guardian, the Department of Justice said that four of the men Khanna named have no apparent connection to Epstein whatsoever, but rather appeared in a photo lineup assembled by the southern district of New York (SDNY).

Khanna, along with Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican representative, pushed the justice department to unredact names in the files, arguing that some names were being unlawfully redacted. Massie claimed credit on X earlier this week for forcing the justice department to remove redactions on a file that listed 20 names, birthdays and photos, including those of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Khanna then read some of those names on the House floor.

Two of the six men Khanna mentioned are Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, who has since resigned as CEO of DP World and an Emirati billionaire businessperson, and Leslie Wexner, a billionaire retail magnate, but the other four names did not appear to have any public profile. A spokesperson from the office of Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, told the Guardian the file was a photo lineup used for investigative purposes by the SDNY.

Khanna went to the House floor and referred to them as "wealthy, powerful men" the other day--implicating their guilt. But now it turns out that he had no idea who they were, much less if they connected to Epstein in any way. Then too, Khanna and his buddy Thomas Massie (two pols who didn't give a shit about the Epstein files until Trump took office a 2nd time), after complaining for weeks that the DOJ was redacting famous names, are now blaming the DOJ for unredacting these names...what a total shitshow.

House Democrat Stacey Plaskett Reportedly Texted with Jeffrey Epstein During Michael Cohen’s Congressional Testimony

Mediaite.com:

Jeffrey Epstein appeared to be exchanging real-time messages with House Democrat, Del. Stacey Plaskett (Virgin Islands), during Michael Cohen’s 2019 testimony, and may have nudged the lawmaker’s line of questioning.

The documents, published by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday, include messages highlighted in a new report by The Washington Post that were sent as Cohen detailed allegations that President Donald Trump manipulated financial records and directed hush-money payments, claims Trump denied.

As the hearing unfolded, Epstein appeared to be monitoring the proceedings closely, alerting his contact that Cohen had mentioned former Trump aide Rhona Graff.

Don't know much about Plaskett other than the fact that she's a loudmouth, professional race-baiter who once threatened independemt journalist Matt Taibbi with jail, claiming he committed perjury over rabid Lefty Mehdi Hasan's uncorrected error some years ago. Since she reps the Virgin Islands, Plaskett doesn't get a vote in the House, so she uses her time there to bully and intimidate white, male Republicans in the name of fighting back against 'white supremacy'...Hallelujah! That said, if we had any real media in this country they'd be investigating this matter further because Plaskett was clearly up to something dubious with Cohen and Epstein for a long time now.

Joe Scarborough Shuts Down Vile House Democrat Who Claimed Trump ‘Took Advantage of Young Girls with Epstein’

Mediaite.com:

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough jumped on a Democratic lawmaker Friday for declaring that President Donald Trump “took advantage of young girls” when he was associated with convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Rep. Seth Moulton’s (D-MA) comments came after Morning Joe’s Willie Geist asked, “What is the most effective message for Democrats in this moment?”

“The Democrats are here to help working people in America, and Republicans are here to protect the billionaire class,” Moulton said. “And what you see time and again from this White House, you know, if you’re a criminal, you’re going to buy your way to freedom with Trump. If you are one of the people like him who took advantage of young girls with Jeffrey Epstein, then we’re going to sort of make that go away. I mean, fundamentally, Speaker Johnson —”

This isn't complicated. Moulton said, without evidence, that Trump took advantage of underage girls. To Scarborough's credit, the MSNBC host pushed back. Now, Trump should sue Moulton for defamation.
