NewsNation host Chris Cuomo went ballistic on CNN’s Scott Jennings for using the term “illegal immigrant” and warned he will be forced to stop saying it when “somebody beats your ass.” Cuomo said the pummeling would be warranted for using such an “inhumane” word.
The ex-CNN star went off on his former colleague in a video rant posted to X and Instagram on Wednesday.
Cuomo referenced the spat Jennings got into with gun control activist Cameron Kasky on Monday, where Kasky told Jennings he “can’t say ‘illegals anymore.'” Jennings scoffed at Kasky and told him ,”How are you gonna enforce your edict on me, just out of curiosity?”
Gotta admit, this surprised me. Because outside of getting his ass owned by comedian/podcaster Dave Smith some years back on the liberal media's role in misinformation during the COVID era, since he got canned by CNN in 2021, Cuomo was doing a pretty good job at being a real journalist on his NewsNation show. But Scott Jennings pushes back on some young, smug and dumb liberal pundit for trying to word ploice him over the use of the term 'illegal alien' (a term Cuomo himself used quite frequently while at CNN) and suddenly Cuomo unleashes some unhinged attack on his ex-colleague of 4 years while accusing Jennings of trying to be a 'tough guy'?!? From the same guy who told his viewers on CNN that they'd be killing their neighbors of they didn't get the COVID shot...yeah, what a prick.
