NYPost.com:
The Department of Justice will “pursue charges” against the anti-ICE agitators who invaded a Sunday church service in St. Paul, including disgraced former CNN reporter Don Lemon, who feebly attempted to cloak his participation in the chaos as an “act of journalism.”
Assistant attorney general for civil rights Harmeet Dhillon told conservative podcaster Benny Johnson that the department “will pursue charges” related to the incident in which families and children were terrorized by a screaming mob of protesters at Cities Church.
Lemon “went into the facility, and then he began, quote, unquote ‘committing journalism,’ as if that’s a sort of shield from being a part, an embedded part, of a criminal conspiracy. It isn’t,” Dhillon clarified during an appearance on “The Benny Show” Monday.
A lot of conservatives online are angry with Don Lemon for continuing to behave like a douchebag and allegedly taking part in what could be an arrestable offense over there in Minnesota. But what disgusts me most about Lemon after yesterday’s actions, however, is his continued insistence on lying about who he is, claiming he’s “just a journalist doing his job,” rather than acknowledging what he’s clearly become since his unceremonious departure from CNN: an openly anti-Trump, full-blown Resistance activist. After all, Lemon’s former colleague, fired anchor Jim Acosta, has no problem wearing his political bias on his sleeve nowadays (whether on his self-righteous podcast or on any liberal platform willing to host him) so why can’t Lemon do the same? The answer seems obvious: Lemon knows that the moment he fully embraces full-blown Resistance, he forfeits any remaining credibility he has as a legitimate journalist. And in the end, there’s nothing more pretentious than watching someone like Lemon desperately try to stay relevant by pretending to be something he’s not, while denying what conservatives said about him the whole entire time he was at CNN: he's a narcissistic, lying POS.
