Israel and Trump Launch Strikes Against Iran; Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Dead After IDF Strike Hits Tehran Compound

CNN.com:

Iran’s militant and unyielding supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who ruled the Islamic Republic for more than three decades and oversaw an era of harsh internal repression and confrontation with the United States and Israel, has died following the Israeli strike in Tehran, as his compound was reduced to rubble, a senior Israeli official told Fox News Digital.

"Khamenei was the contemporary Middle East’s longest-serving autocrat. He did not get to be that way by being a gambler. Khamenei was an ideologue, but one who ruthlessly pursued the preservation and protection of his ideology, often taking two steps forward and one step back," Behnam Ben Taleblu, senior director of FDD’s Iran program, told Fox News Digital.

"Khamenei’s worldview was shaped by his militant anti-Americanism and antisemitism, which first manifested itself in his protests against the Shah of Iran," he added.

Well, to the ire of the msm and many liberals online, reports that Khamenei has been killed have sparked celebrations in many corners of the world, particularly among those who have long viewed his regime as one that governed through violence, intimidation, and the relentless repression of dissent while making “death to America” a guiding slogan for nearly five decades. For critics of Tehran, the moment feels historic, potentially marking the end of a theocratic system that exported jihadist ideology and destabilized the region. Yet the jubilation is tempered by a serious question: if this truly signals the collapse of the Islamic Republic’s leadership structure, what comes next? After all it's well-known that regime change alone does not guarantee freedom, and the harder task is building a stable, genuinely democratic state. If Trump is poised to play a decisive role in shaping Iran’s future, skeptics are warranted in asking whether there is a concrete, realistic plan to help foster democratic institutions and prevent a power vacuum or whether the fall of one strongman could simply open the door to another cycle of chaos, like we've seen enough times before. Only time will tell.

Rep. Lauren Boebert Proves Waht a Waste of Time it Was Inviting Hillary Clinton to House Hearings

PBS.org:

The House Oversight Committee's deposition of Hillary Clinton was paused after Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert sent a photo of the closed-door proceeding to a conservative influencer. Benny Johnson, a right-wing Youtuber, posted a photo of Clinton at the deposition online and said Boebert had provided it.

The deposition is being recorded on video, but Comer has said that will only be released after Clinton's attorneys have a chance to review it. The committee's rules do not allow outside press or photographers to take photos of the proceedings. Boebert, R-Colo., was defiant in remarks to reporters as she left the closed-door deposition for Hillary Clinton.

Boebert had violated committee protocol by sharing a photo of Clinton with a conservative influencer who posted it online. When asked why she had shared the photo, Boebert responded, "Why not?" Boebert also sarcastically said she admired Clinton's blue suit and wanted to show it to everyone.

What a complete and utter farce, That is after begging for Hillary Clinton (who outside of the 2016 presidential election, has owned GOP whenever they confront her) to testify on the Epsteain files, knowing damn well she'd deny everything, much less behind closed doors all the while knowing that it's her husband Bill (who should be the focus here when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein). And then an unserious person like Rep. Boebert chooing to leak a photo of Hillary mid-trial to a pro-MAGA figure--any wonder why this GOP can't get anything done?

Jasmine Crockett’s Senate Campaign Reportedly Called Police on CNN Reporter

Mediaite.com:

The Senate campaign of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is intensifying hostilities with disfavored reporters, according to Semafor.

In a report published on Tuesday, the outlet said that in separate incidents this month, Crockett’s campaign called the police on CNN reporter Edward-Isaac Dovere and escorted Atlantic reporter Elaine Godfrey off the premises at a campaign rally.

Earlier this month, Crockett’s campaign called the Capitol Police on Dovere because “he may have trespassed when he attempted to visit a campaign office location.” Dovere interviewed Crockett in December before she announced her Senate run.

Recent polls show Crockett leading her primary challenger, James Talarico, by as much as 12 points, and that sizable advantage may be emboldening her campaign strategy. With a comfortable margin, Crockett appears increasingly willing to take a harder line with the press, including reportedly removing reporters she doesn't like from campaign events, while benefiting from her media allies who lobe her for always bashing Trump. Her lead in the polls also helps Crockett avoid less predictable platforms like Stephen A. Smith's podcast (who've been begging Crockett for an interview fot awhile now) where she might face more pointed questions about her policy positions and often combative demeanor> But with a huge lead in the polls Crickett can instead opt for friendly interviews that focus heavily on attacking President Trump rather than scrutinizing her own record. So right now there's little incentive for Crcokett to change course, meaning voters are likely to see more tightly controlled appearances and continued confrontational moments on the campaign trail.

Don Lemon Sued for ‘Severe Emotional Distress’ Over Minneapolis Church Protest

YahooNews.com:

Don Lemon was sued this week with a group of protestors for “severe emotional distress” following the January “ICE Out” protest inside a Minneapolis church.

Churchgoer Ann Doucette claimed in a lawsuit filed Monday that the protest unlawfully interfered with her ability to freely exercise her religion and resulted in “severe emotional distress, fear, anxiety and trauma.”

Lemon documented an anti-ICE protest that took place at a Jan. 18 church service led by the church’s pastor David Easterwood, an alleged ICE field officer, following the fatal shooting of Renee Good.

Took this parishioner long enough because there's no justification for protesting inside a church and Lemon knew the deal when he decided to show up there and make himself an active participant. In other words, not the actions of a so-called "journalist" (as he loves to claim, but really for legal purposes), but that of an activist. As since he got canned from CNN not too long back, Lemon knew that the only way to keep himself relevant was to join the anti-Trump Resistance. There's also the fact that as a former journalist, Lemon knew that there was no way those protestors would've done this to say a mosque, or any non-Christian house of worship for the matter--there would've been hell to pay for that. That said, every person who was in that church, when Lemon and his crew barged in to scare and harass them, should sue them. And not just for emotional distress, but on civil terms too as the best way to wreck Lemon's life is to make an example of him and go after his pockets.

White, Female Hunter College Professor Caught On Hot Mic Making Racist Remarks About Black Students

NYPost.com:

A Hunter College professor who sparked widespread outrage after she was caught making a “blatantly racist” comment during a New York City public schools video meeting is being reviewed by her employer — but may keep her job thanks to her cushy tenure.

Allyson Friedman, an associate professor of biology at the Manhattan CUNY school, came under fire after her shocking remarks were caught on a hot mic, interrupting a black eighth-grader who was raising concerns about her Upper West Side school possibly facing a shutdown during a Community Education Council meeting on Feb. 10.

“They’re too dumb to know they’re in a bad school,” Friedman was heard saying while her mic was unknowingly unmuted, according to a recording of the meeting posted online. “If you train a black person well enough, they’ll know to use the back,” she said. “You don’t have to tell them anymore.”

Now there's some good 'ole fashioned racism  there. And yes, she should be fired immediately, especially since the evidence is right there on tape for everyone to see. What's funny tho is how Professor Freidman thought that she was on mute when she made her racist remarkss, but she wasn't..poor thing. And the lack of outrage from her fellow panelists is also pretty noticable, which tells you more about the state of white liberalism.

Supreme Court Justices Strike Down Trump’s Tariffs

NBCNews.com:

The Supreme Court delivered a major blow to President Donald Trump, ruling Friday that he exceeded his authority when imposing sweeping tariffs using a law reserved for a national emergency.

The justices, divided 6-3, held that Trump's aggressive approach to tariffs on products entering the United States from across the world was not permitted under a 1977 law called the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). The ruling invalidates many, but not all, of Trump’s tariffs.

Speaking at the White House, Trump harshly criticized the Supreme Court majority, describing the decision as a "disgrace to our" nation and the justices in the majority as "very unpatriotic and disloyal to the Constitution," while suggesting they were "swayed by foreign interests." Trump's ability to impose tariffs using other laws is not affected by the ruling, and Trump said he plans to use those authorities to impose new duties on a global basis. He said he will soon implement a 10% global tariff, which would be a reduction for nearly all foreign nations.

The right ruling by SCOTUS in my opinion. The law that Trump was using to impose his tariffs is only good for 'emergencies'--that's pretty clearly stated in the Constitution. And to be fair, Trump's big mouth and sheer recklessness made it even harder for SCOTUS to rule in his favor. But Trump being Trump, he probably thought Justices Alito, Thomas and his 3 handpicked Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett, would be 'loyal' by ruling for him and he'd get a pass--well, that obviously didn't turn out to be the case. And good for them, as the justices are sworn to abide by the Constitution and nothing else. That being said, it's clear that many on Trump's team (esp. Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent) were already prepared for a defeat and within a few hours of the decision it was announced that the tariffs will remain in place, but under a different law. On another note, it sure will be interesting to see which justices show up for Trump's SOTU address next week.

Texas State Representative James Talarico (D) Enjoys Fundraising Windfall of $2.5 Million in Campaign Donations After Trump/FCC Lie

Mediaite.com:

Texas state Representative James Talarico (D) enjoyed a fundraising windfall of $2.5 million in campaign donations towards his primary run for US Senate candidacy, a spike that came within just 24 hours after Stephen Colbert claimed his scheduled interview on The Late Show was pulled by CBS.

Talarico had been scheduled to appear on The Late Show on Monday but, instead of appearing on the broadcast, Colbert told viewers that network lawyers had advised against airing the segment over concerns it could violate the Federal Communications Commission’s “equal-time” rule. The segment was later uploaded to YouTube, where it rapidly amassed millions of views.

The move triggered widespread backlash and a wave of small-dollar donations to the lawmaker’s campaign in the day since. He is currently running in primary against Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) to compete for the senatorial seat.

So basically, Colbert stirred up the mainstream media and members of the Resistance by suggesting that CBS was caving to pressure from the Trump-aligned FCC and censoring both him and James Talarico. However, CBS comes out with a statement later indicating that they simply gave Colbert the option of putting the interview on his YouTube Channel instead to avoid getting in any trouble with the FCC's "equal-time rule" and force him to have to platform Talarico's primary opponents like Resistance figure-head Jasmine Crockett. Meanwhile, Talarico capitalized on the lie, raising $2.5 million for his campaign coffers...I tell ya, you can't hate the liberal media enough.

Woke 'Silence of the Lambs' Actor Apologizes to 'Transgender People' for 'Unfortunate' Depiction of Buffalo Bill

FOXNews.com:

Ted Levine, who played Buffalo Bill in the film Silence of the Lambs, spoke out about transphobia criticism the movie has received since its release 35 years ago.

"There are certain aspects of the movie that don’t hold up too well," Levine told The Hollywood Reporter.

The portrayal of the character Buffalo Bill, also known as Jame Gumb, has been criticized over the years by the transgender community as harmful.

This is so beyond stupid, but typical when it comes to the woke Left and their constant virtue-signaling. I mean, "Silence of the Lambs' came out in 1991...no one was talking about transgender people people back then. Then too, having seen the great SOTL a handful of times over the years, I can attest to the fact that the Buffalo Bill character was nothing more than a deranged lunatic/serial killer/pervert with issues that only an intrepid young FBI agent and an incarcerated, cannibalistic serial killer (and forensic psychiatrist) like Hannibal Lector could find before he kills again--nothing more, nothing less. Lastly, if you might have been 'harmed' by the film, there's a simple solution: don't watch it again. That said, leave it to some little-known, woke white, actor to feed into the noise from the "Forever Outraged" crowd and spoil the film's legacy by attempting to stain it some 35 years later with this bullshit.

Four Men in Unredacted Files Named By Ro Khanna Have No Ties to Jeffrey Epstein

TheGuardian.com:

Ro Khanna, a California Democratic representative, read a list of six names on the House floor earlier this week and said they were “wealthy, powerful men that the DoJ hid” in the recently released files related to Jeffrey Epstein. After questions from the Guardian, the Department of Justice said that four of the men Khanna named have no apparent connection to Epstein whatsoever, but rather appeared in a photo lineup assembled by the southern district of New York (SDNY).

Khanna, along with Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican representative, pushed the justice department to unredact names in the files, arguing that some names were being unlawfully redacted. Massie claimed credit on X earlier this week for forcing the justice department to remove redactions on a file that listed 20 names, birthdays and photos, including those of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Khanna then read some of those names on the House floor.

Two of the six men Khanna mentioned are Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, who has since resigned as CEO of DP World and an Emirati billionaire businessperson, and Leslie Wexner, a billionaire retail magnate, but the other four names did not appear to have any public profile. A spokesperson from the office of Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, told the Guardian the file was a photo lineup used for investigative purposes by the SDNY.

Khanna went to the House floor and referred to them as "wealthy, powerful men" the other day--implicating their guilt. But now it turns out that he had no idea who they were, much less if they connected to Epstein in any way. Then too, Khanna and his buddy Thomas Massie (two pols who didn't give a shit about the Epstein files until Trump took office a 2nd time), after complaining for weeks that the DOJ was redacting famous names, are now blaming the DOJ for unredacting these names...what a total shitshow.

Liberal Kentucky Judge Cuts Rapist's 65-Year Sentence to 30 Years Due to Race, Sparks Backlash

WDRB.com:

A Jefferson County judge sentenced a Louisville man to decades in prison last week after a courtroom outburst included repeated profanities and threats directed at the bench, but the final sentence still fell far short of what a jury had recommended.

Christopher Thompson, 24, was convicted of sodomy, robbery and kidnapping in December. A jury recommended a 65-year sentence, but Jefferson Circuit Judge Tracy Davis ultimately sentenced Thompson to 30 years, plus an additional four years and 120 days for multiple counts of criminal contempt stemming from his behavior during sentencing.

"Before we even get appearances, Mr. Thompson, I'm going to need you to be respectful," Davis told him. Thompson responded with a string of obscenities and threats, at one point telling the judge to "eat a d***" and adding "If I could spit on you, I would.

Of course it's highly concerning, but not surprising that cases like this continue to happen, while raising questions about judicial discretion and sentencing philosophy especially when it comes to woke, black, female judges around the country. Part of a broader pattern in which these activist judges appear to prioritize rehabilitative considerations over punitive ones, particularly in serious violent crimes. Funny too how in this instance, the defendant (convicted of robbery, kidnapping, and rape) reportedly reacted with anger despite receiving a substantially reduced sentence. Indeed, the judge cited factors such as the defendant’s youth and potential for rehabilitation in deciding to cut the sentence in half, a decision that warrants serious review, with little to no care about on how the victim feels. Nonetheless, meaningful accountability for members of the judiciary (no matter how outraged conservatives online are about this case) can be extremely difficult to achieve, which makes it uncertain whether Judge Davis (clearly a Ketanji Brown Jackson-wannabee) will suffer any consequences.

Algerian Olympic Boxer Imane Khelif Has Advanced to Having Male Sex Chromosones

Outkick.com:

Imane Khelif has finally admitted to possessing XY chromosomes.

In a new interview with French sports outlet L’Équipe, the Algerian boxer addressed the controversy that surrounded the women's boxing competition at the Paris Olympics, where Khelif won gold despite questions surrounding the athlete's biological sex.

Khelif is not transgender but reportedly has a condition called difference of sex development (DSD).

So months after getting to compete as a 'female' so he can neat up on women boxers, Khelif confirms that he has the male chromosome--something many long knew already, but were called a 'bigot' for saying so out loud. Well, hopefully this ends the practice of weak male boxers getting to beat up their female counterparts in boxing as well as idiot publications (including right-leaning ones) using male pronouns for a man who simply says he's a woman.

Federal Judge Blocks California Law Forcing ICE Agents to Remove Masks During Operations

FOXNews.com:

A Los Angeles‑based federal judge on Monday blocked California from enforcing its law that would require ICE agents to remove masks during immigration enforcement operations.

Judge Christina Snyder, appointed during the Clinton administration, argued that the "No Secret Police Act" and "No Vigilantes Act" discriminated against the federal government by violating the Supremacy Clause.

Under the U.S. Constitution’s Supremacy Clause, federal law takes precedence over any conflicting state or local law, rendering the lower-level law unenforceable.

The filing of this lawsuit reeks of court-shopping. Beacuse even though liberals understand that federal law overrides state law, blue-state governors like Gavin Newsom still file lawsuits they have little chance of winning, hoping an activist judge might side with them. It’s political theater at its best: pursued even when defeat is likely and despite proof that ICE agents wear masks to protect themselves from being doxxed. Still, with Newsom widely seen as a potential Democratic presidential nominee in 2028, even a legal loss can be spun as a political win for his Trump-deranged base.

Los Angeles Mayor Bass Watered Down the Palisades Fire Report and Then Lied About It

NYPost.com:

Embattled Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass secretly altered the official Palisades Fire response report to downplay the failures made by the city and fire department when the deadly blaze erupted, a new report said.

Bass, after seeing an early draft of the after-action report, wanted key findings of the Los Angeles Fire Department’s shortcomings scrubbed or watered down — and even warned then-interim Fire Chief Ronnie Villanueva the unedited conclusions could expose the city to legal liability, sources close to the Democrat’s staff told the Los Angeles Times.

Bass was cautioned that the self-serving tweaks in with the report was a “bad idea” that could torpedo her political career, but still withheld the working draft until after changes were made, insiders told the Times.

Amazing how much this long-incompetent mayor has gotten away with since she took office in L.A., with little to no pushback from the msm, much less California voters too brainwashed by white, liberal oligarchy's to do anything about it. Indeed, once you thought think Bass would step down and resign in disgrace after traveling to Ghana on a diplomatic mission in early January 2025 as the Palisades fire ignited, now a year later with hardly any homes in the area having been rebuilt, we find out now that an LAFD report was revised to soften or remove language critical of the department’s wildfire preparedness. Then too, statements suggesting staffing decisions did not align with red flag procedures were replaced with claims that deployments exceeded standard protocols. References to “failures” were reframed as “primary challenges,” and mentions of guideline violations and delayed crew assignments were deleted. A passage arguing that fuller staffing could have been achieved through recalls was also cut and the final version emphasized that officials balanced fiscal responsibility with preparation by adhering to the department’s pre-deployment matrix. If true, a cover-up of epic proportions that begs for a new mayor...too bad Californian's are too stupid to see otherwise.

Billie Eilish’s Virtue Era Is Doing Numbers

NYPost.com:

Lefty pop star Billie Eilish is facing calls to hand over her ritzy Los Angeles digs to a Native American tribe or illegal immigrant after she declared “No one is illegal on stolen land” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

The “Wildflower” singer, 24, is being accused of virtue signaling for the anti-ICE remarks she made while accepting the award for Song of the Year on Sunday night. “What about if we all showed up to her mansion and said we are going to live there now? It’s stolen land right? She doesn’t own it,” wrote one X user in response to Eilish’s comments.

“Meanwhile, she’s chilling in her … Hollywood Hills fortress with armed guards and a moat of privilege. If the land’s so stolen, sis, hand over the keys to the nearest tribe or migrant family,” wrote political commentator and YouTuber Brandon Tatum.

Young, dumb, woke and comfortable when she's in a room full of her fellow rich, white liberal friends, pop star Eilish goes viral for stating that America is 'stolen land' and 'f**k ICE' at the Grammy's Sunday night. And good for her...except when you find out that Eilish lives in a $3M property once owned by Indigenous people. And that's the problem with these Hollywood elites as while their slogans are loud and in your face, their deeds? Not so much. Indeed, they want criminals running amok on the streets, but high walls and armed guards around their precious homes. In other words, virtue-signaling and performative activism at its best.

Detransitioner Wins $2 Million Against New York Docs Who Pushed Double Mastectomy

NYPost.com:

A 22-year-old woman who identified as a boy in her teen years won a $2 million decision in a landmark lawsuit against New York doctors accused of pushing a double mastectomy on her when she was a minor.

Fox Varian had the life-altering surgery when she was just 16-years-old — getting approval from a psychologist and a surgeon — both of whom a jury found liable of medical malpractice on Jan. 30, The Epoch Times reported.

Varian, now 22 and considered a “detransitioner,” was awarded $1.6 million for past and future pain and suffering, and an additional $400,000 for future medical expenses — in the first detransitioner malpractice lawsuit in the nation to go to trial and win.

Finally, a win for common sense and the truth. Even better is that this took place in blue-state New York. And both her psychologist and surgeon were found liable for giving her a mastectomy at 16. Hopefully, this inspires more lawsuits against these ideological butchers who do it all in the name of the lie that is 'gender-affirrning care'.
